-1997-2000 model Brava karts featured a serial number tag welded to the back of the rear seat crossmember. That tag indicated serial number as well as model number.

My Application to join earlier this year was REJECTED. I must be the only person in history to have a Membership Application of this Club rejected. As no reason was forthcoming I can only surmise it was because I was asking difficult questions about why 4 years after the track was sold (resumed) we did not even have land with approval to build a track.

Only the first few hundred KT100's produced had sand cast cases. They are generally characterized by a very dull, rough, sandblasted look. Permanent mold was used for all cases from around 1978 until about 1989 or so. These cases can be (and usually are) fairly shiny, with a bit of an 'orange-peel' look to them. Pressure die-cast cases have been the only thing available since around 1989.

Thanks for the reply! I've been a little hesitant about it because it's a flag when someone doesn't know the manufacturer of their Kart, seem's it's not been in the hands of someone who knows stuff. The Venom seems to be a British made Kart which was designed for TKM (think Rotax but a little rawer) which only used British Homologated chassis', however around 07/08 they opened it up to Europe. This meant Tony Kart/Jade etc took over as popular options. Thank you for your reply!

I know that there has apparently been no change whatsoever to the OTK range in 2012 but just want to be sure that it is a 2012 kart that I have bought if that makes any sense at all?! Tony Kart was founded in 1958 by Antonio 'Tony' Bosio in near in northern Italy. Originally, Tony karts were painted blue and later a metallic green, that color was changed to Tony Kart Green in 1983 when Tony Kart was purchased by Mr Roberto Robazzi and Mr. Carlo Cancarini. At the beginning they worked in the 125 gearbox class and after a short while won a world championship in FC 125 class with the Grade Prix chassis driven by Fabrizio Giovarnardi.

A Little History Of Tony Kart USA Karting

BIRTH
Beginning with the origin of the name, this derives from the English term 'cart' (car in English), later the 'C' became 'K' as a distinctive note, since the kart was invented in the United States and there the letter K was used.
As we know, the Kart is sometimes also called Go-Kart. In Spain it has mainly been used to refer to rental karts, although in other countries it is used indifferently in the same way as the term 'kart'.
